Junior Governing Board

The “senior” governing board' (known as the Local School Committee) plays a vital role within our school but we are extremely proud of our “junior” governing board. They ensure children are part of the decision making at Larchwood Primary School.

All year groups are represented and the junior governing board are given time to meet on a half termly basis. All meetings are minuted and overseen by teachers. The minutes will then be published online but also passed onto Mr Bowsher, our Headteacher, who will take the recommendations made by the Junior Governing Board (JGB) into consideration.
